HE LIKED THE DMACC SUPPORT

Tom Tays, BHS-78, responded to our recent tribute to DMACC. He wrote, "thanks for emphasizing the value of having the DMACC athletic programs based at the Boone campus. This is under appreciated in the community. You also made reference to the locals who did the "heavy lifting" to bring this about. Thumbs up to the Kornerman. In our family albums, I still have the pictures taken at the party celebrating the Bears first ever win in basketball. My mom and dad hosted the party at our home at 1135 Garst Avenue. I was just a little kid but I knew it was a big deal. And thanks for publishing Kelley's Korner. I always look forward to your updates. Best regards."
EDITORS NOTE: I, the Kornerman, almost always sit down at the computer each Wednesday and Saturday and try to provide some type of Boone area news, good or bad, to anyone willing to take a look. Sitting alone and pondering, sometimes you wonder.....Is anyone out there? or if so, Do they give a darn?
Its nice to receive notes like the one Tom provided. He was there and he saw something special, something he was interested in and appreciated. That's nice to know.
