     BOONE CONNECTED DEATHS: Susan Brown, 75, Boone. Born in Ames. AHS-63. Earned a degree from ISU in 1967. Married Dewey Brown in 1965. Taught Special Education and worked with students with behavior disabilities, two years in Gilbert and then in the Boone school system from the mid-80's until retirement in 2010. Survivors include a son, daughter and brother.........Jerry Grady, 84, Nevada. Formerly of Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-57. Married Nancy Gilliam in 1957 and she passed in 2014. Jerry worked at Western Auto, the Fareway Warehouse and Caffrey's. Survivors include a daughter and three siblings...........Judy Reed, 78, Boone..........Alan Johnson, 53, Des Moines. Born in Boone. BHS-85. Worked for Vision for Less. Survivors include his parents, Terry and Sheryl Paris Johnson of Boone, a sister, brother-in-law and aunts and uncles, many from the Boone area........Joseph "Kenny" Barnes, 95, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-43. Air Force vet. Earned a degree from BJC after returning from service. Served many years with Iowa Electric Light and Power, retiring in 1984. Also owned and operated Kenny's Radio-TV from 1967-2010. Married Joan Wenzel in 1950 and she died in 1986. Married Helen McGehee in 1988. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Boone, a son, daughter and three step-children, including Amy Shafer and Laura McGehee both of Boone....Loren Muench, 89, Ames. Born in Boxholm. Boxholm HS-50. Army vet. Farmed with his dad. Married Marjorie Kalsem. Earned a degree from ISU in 1956 and taught at Newton for two years. Then, earned his Masters Degree and PhD from ISU and became an ISU faculty member for 29 years, retiring in 1992. Was well known in the area as a vocalist. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of Ames, two sons, a daughter, a foster daughter and two sisters.......Charles Jeff  Brott, 62, Hartford, IA..........Mary Sutton, 61, Ogden. Married Dennis Sutton in 1982. The couple moved to the Ogden area in 1991. Mary worked in food service in Ogden and at ISU. Survivors include her husband, two sons, a brother and three sisters..........Martha Torrence, 71, Urbandale. The Bob Torrence family lived in several Iowa communities including Madrid.........James Moran, 83, Sioux City. Survivors include a son, Camden Moran, of Madrid, grandchildren, including Cassie St. Aubin, Katelyn Seiler and Faith Moran, all of Madrid and great-grandchildren including Cleveland St. Aubin and Cora Seiler of Madrid...........Doris Stewart, 93, Boone. Formerly of Rippey.
