     BOONE CONNECTED DEATHS

 

     Master Chief Petty Officer USN Retired Fred O. Woolson, 88, Boone. Born in Perry. BHS-50. Retired from naval service in 1972. Was a member of the ISU faculty in the College of  Engineering and Design until retirement in 1997. Two sons and two daughters survive.

     Roland William Schoof, 86, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-55. Worked for Square Deal Oil and the Boone Locker, then at Mid States Steel until retirement in 1996. Married Beverly Samuelson in 1957. Survivors include his wife, a son, Alan Schoof, of Boone, and two daughters, including Kimberly Shuey of Ogden. Two sisters, Valenette Heldt and Evelyn Stockman, both of Boone also survive.

     Elaine Joy Muller, 65, Boone. Born in Minnesota. Denver Christian HS-73. Survivors include two sons including Rich Muller of Boone. A sister and five brothers also survive.
