Worked as a claims representative. Survivors include a son, Eric Long, of Madrid and a sister........Betty Jean Pepper, 94.........Melvin Kipp, 72, Ames. Born in Boone. Grew up in Ogden, OHS-66. Worked in Tipton, Iowa City and at Old Main in Ames. Two brothers survive.........Martin Scott, 58, Des Moines. Survivors include a sister, Sarah Schultz, of Boone.
