He wrote from Blairsville, GA, "please ask your readers out there in Boone land if anyone has a contact for Chuck McCubbins, BHS-59. Also looking for all those who wore the old Toreador outfit. I know Kenny Hartman did in 62-63. Also the where abouts of the outfit and any other such data."

BOONE CONNECTED DEATHS: Eunice North, 80, Boone.........Danyel Mae Johnston McFarland, 41, Stratford........Doris Morgan Housley, 81, Des Moines. BHS-58. Grew up in Boone prior to a lifetime move to Des Moines. Married Jack Housley. He is deceased. Two sons and a daughter survive.........Denise Majors, 96, Ankeny. Formerly of Boone. Married James Majors in 1945. Lived in Boone before moving to Huxley in 1975, then to Ankeny in 2006. Worked at Bournes in Ames, 1964-84, before retirement. Two sons, three daughters and two sisters survive.
