     I wish we had better news...........
     John Hinz wrote, "Unfortunately, my sister Liz (Elizabeth Hinz Reiss) died this afternoon (Thursday). She had not been feeling well for the past month. She just turned 74 on November 8. She lived in Bloomfield, NJ for many years where she was still active as a cellist. She is survived by her husband Joel and sons Brian and David, their wives, and four grandchildren. She was a big Mo Kelley fan and loved participating in providing information to you. Best wishes. John."
     Liz was a great Korner contributor and we will miss hearing from her. Our condolences to John and the entire family.
     Boone Area Deaths: Deanna Scott, 71. Boone. BHS-62. Worked at Archway and then for 28 years at Hawkeye Laundry. Boone area survivor is her sister LaVonne Lilly of Ogden..............Walter Riker, 96, Boone. Jordan High-37. A railroad engineer he was also the owner of Iowa Earth Boring Company and was involved from the beginning of the Scenic Valley Railroad.  Boone area survivors include his son, Mike, and a sister-in-law Lois Riker both of Boone...............Bob Hudson, 89, Stratford. He and his wife operated a small grocery in Stratford, he taught at Stratford High briefly and worked over 20 years for Job Service programs in Fort Dodge and Webster City.
