University of St. Thomas, ISU, Indian Extension in South Bend, IN., Drake University, University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin, internship at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines and psychiatric residency at Mental Health Institute in Independence. Married Sandra Kay LaPole in 1999 in Walker. He taught latin at Notre Dame, worked at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis, the Hastings State Hospital in Hastings, MN, the Wyoming State Hospital in Laramie, the Forest City Hospital in Forest City, the Anamosa State Penitentiary and as a clinical psychiatrist in Mount Pleasant. He then served in private practice in psychiatry and neurology in St. Paul, MN. Survivors include his wife, Sandra, and six adult children. Services in Walker.
