Susan Wilson Elsner Nickel, 85, BSH-59. Married Dan Nickel. The couple lived in Boone, Spirit Lake and finally, Guthrie Center. Husband Dan had worked for Alliant but was retired.
Cindy Holmes, 63, Boone. Born in Arkansas. An Army child, she grew up in North Carolina, Panama and was a high school graduate in 1981 from Fayetteville, NC. She married Jor'l Campbell in 1983 and they divorced. She then married Don Holmes in Boone in 2000. She was a stay-at-home mom until starting work at Walmart in 1996. She retired in 2020 after 25 years with Walmart. At a young age, Cindy attended baking school and she's been teaching her granddaughter that skill. She loved collecting gnomes and giraffes, reading, volunteering at bible school and spending time by the ocean. She's also been learning how to speak Korean and Chinese. Survivors include her husband, Don, and three children, Melissa (Chris) Winsor, Chris Campbell and Steven Campbell. Services in Boone.
Bruce Davidson, 75, Des Moines. Born in Boone. His parents were Helen and Russell Davidson. Ames HS-70. Services in Des Moines.
Reverend Frank "Father Frank" Charles Creamer Sr., 72, Palm Harbor, FL. Born in Boone. Grew up in the Miami area. His mother was Ruth Creamer and her father was known as "Boo".
