Little League/Babe Ruth baseball coach, 25 years. Managed Ruth All-Star team to eight-team National Ruth World Series in New Jersey, 1962. Served eight years as Master of Ceremonies for National High School Hall of Fame inductions.Boone High School graduate, 1953; Boone Junior College graduate,1955; U.S. Army vet; married (Jo); 4 children; 5 grandchildren.
